Legend Golf & Safari Resort sits within the 22,000-hectare Entabeni Safari Conservancy in the Waterberg, Limpopo, just under three hours’ drive from Johannesburg. It’s one of the few destinations in the world where a round of golf and a Big Five safari happen on the same property, with no transfer day needed between the two.
Golf Courses
The resort is home to two courses. The 18 Signatures Course is the only course in the world where every hole was designed by a different golfer, and it’s here that you’ll find the Extreme 19th, the longest and highest par 3 anywhere, reachable only by helicopter. The Tribute Course recreates some of the game’s most iconic holes and has its own newly built clubhouse. Together they’ve made Legend a genuine bucket-list destination for golfers, while remaining accessible for casual players and non-golfers travelling with them.
Accommodation
Accommodation ranges from 5-star resort rooms to fully self-catering safari villas and exclusive-use lodges, so guests can choose between an all-inclusive stay or their own private space with a dedicated ranger. Facilities include three swimming pools, spa treatments, a fitness centre, tennis courts, a children’s club, and dining that spans a clubhouse boma to a rooftop bar overlooking the course.
African Safari
Beyond the fairways, the conservancy is home to the Big Five, with ranger-led game drives, mountain biking and hiking trails, and horseback riding all available on-site. It’s a malaria-free destination, which makes it a straightforward choice for families as well as golf groups and corporate incentives.
