On 1 September 2026 we’d love you to join me at the magnificent De Zalze Golf Course, in the heart of the Cape Winelands, for a day built entirely around fun, friendship and a little friendly warfare.
YOUR DAY INCLUDES
◆ 18 holes at De Zalze with shared carts
◆ Halfway house and drinks flowing on course

◆ A charity auction — headline lot donated by Ernie Els
◆ Dinner, drinks and a live band to dance the night away

The touring New Zealand rugby supporters are in town, and they’ve thrown down the gauntlet. So we’re settling it the only civilized way we know:
18 holes, two proud rugby nations, and the Chris “Fridge” McAlpine Floating Trophy on the line. It’s also our chance to raise a glass to Fridge (a true stalwart and great friend of Ascot Tours) whose name this trophy will carry for years to come.
Preference has been given to golfers. This invitation is personal to you and not transferable.
