On arrival in Harare you will be met and transferred to Sandalwood Lodge, where you’ll spend the next 5 nights. Nestled amidst greenery and a peaceful landscape, Sandalwood Lodge is a charming retreat that provides a perfect blend of modern comforts and natural beauty. As you step into the lodge’s welcoming ambiance, you’ll instantly feel at ease. In the evening, dine at the lodge’s restaurant, where you can indulge in a delectable meal prepared with locally sourced ingredients, offering a taste of Zimbabwe’s culinary delights.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge’s restaurant, which features a wide selection of dishes to cater to your preferences. Following your meal, go on a golfing adventure at the picturesque Borrowdale Brooke Golf Club. This renowned golf course is not only challenging but also offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The  fairways and greens make for an unforgettable golfing experience. After your golf game, return to Sandalwood Lodge, where you can unwind by the sparkling pool or take a leisurely stroll in the lodge’s gardens. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner at the lodge’s restaurant, where you can savor a gourmet meal in a cozy and intimate setting.

After a satisfying breakfast, you’ll head out to the prestigious Royal Harare Golf Club for another exciting round of golf. The Royal Harare Golf Club is known for its rich history and impeccably maintained course, offering a challenging yet enjoyable game of golf. The course is surrounded by mature trees and offers a tranquil atmosphere for golf enthusiasts. Upon your return to Sandalwood Lodge, you can enjoy lunch and leisure time. You may choose to explore Harare’s attractions or simply unwind in the peaceful surroundings of the lodge. In the evening, savor another delicious dinner at the lodge’s restaurant, where you can sample a variety of culinary delights.

Day 4
Your morning begins with a leisurely breakfast, preparing you for a day of golf at Chapman Golf Club. This golf course is renowned for its challenging layout and ambiance. Surrounded by nature and featuring well-maintained fairways, Chapman Golf Club offers a memorable golfing experience for players of all levels.

Day 5
Your day begins with a leisurely breakfast at Sandalwood Lodge in Harare, Zimbabwe. After breakfast, your journey continues as you’re transferred to Harare’s airport. The anticipation builds as you approach the private charter flight that will whisk you away to Nyamatusi in Mana Pools. The flight itself is an experience, offering stunning aerial views of Zimbabwe’s landscapes. 

Upon arrival at Nyamatusi, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a welcome that brings you to the untamed beauty of Mana Pools. The camp itself is a luxurious oasis, offering elegant accommodations in spacious safari tents. You have time to settle in, unwind, and take in the surroundings. 

As the sun sets, gather around the campfire for pre-dinner drinks and captivating stories from your guides. The star-studded African sky provides the backdrop to your first night in this remote wilderness. Dinner is a culinary delight, showcasing both local and international flavors

Days 6

Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe

Nyamatusi Camp

Wake up to the harmonious sounds of the wild, a symphony of birdsong and rustling leaves. Your morning is filled with the promise of adventure. You have the option to go on a guided walking safari, led by expert guides who share their knowledge of the environment and its inhabitants. Walking through the wilderness offers a unique and intimate connection to the land.

Alternatively, you may choose a game drive in specially designed vehicles that bring you closer to the wildlife of Mana Pools. The region is known for its elephants, buffalo, and lions, and you may be fortunate enough to spot these magnificent creatures. In the afternoon, set out on a guided canoeing adventure along the Zambezi River. Drift gently along the river’s edge, witnessing wildlife from a different perspective. 

Return to camp for a well-deserved break. Enjoy refreshing drinks and share your experiences with fellow travelers. Dinner is a culinary journey that tantalizes your taste buds and nourishes your spirit.

Day 7

Each day in the wilderness brings new discoveries. Morning may find you setting off on another game drive or a guided nature walk. With the help of your experienced guides, you’ll track wildlife and learn about their behavior, enhancing your understanding of the intricacies of the natural world.

Mana Pools is a haven for diverse bird species, so keep your binoculars handy to spot these avian wonders. Elephants, in particular, are a common sight, and you may have the chance to observe them in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, you have the option to visit a local village, gaining insight into the culture and traditions of the indigenous communities that call this region home. This cultural exchange provides a deeper connection to the land and its people. Back at the camp, the evening unfolds with aperitifs around the campfire. 

Days 8 - 9

Today, you go on a road journey to the Ciêla Resort and Spa, your next destination for the next three nights. The road winds through Zimbabwe and Zambia’s picturesque landscapes, offering glimpses of its natural beauty. You’ll pass through villages, witness local life, and enjoy the changing scenery as you approach your luxurious haven at Ciêla Resort and Spa.

Day 9
A new day brings the opportunity for an exciting round of golf at the Lusaka Golf Course. As you step onto the pristine fairways, the scent of freshly mown grass fills the air, and the promise of a challenging yet enjoyable game beckons. The course’s layout is a testament to its rich history and commitment to the sport. The well-maintained greens and fairways, complemented by the camaraderie of fellow golfers, promise a day of camaraderie and the satisfaction of a game well played. After golf you’ll be taken to Victoria Falls for an up, close and personal encounter with this legendary phenomena on foot.  Visit ‘The Big Tree,’ the rainforest trails and the incredible flora as well as sites like the Devil’s Cataract at the end of the Chain Walk.

Day 10

Lusaka, Zambia

Today, the Bonanza Golf Course welcomes you to another round of golfing excellence. Nestled within Zambia’s captivating landscape, this course offers a unique blend of challenges and scenic beauty. The fairways wind through rolling terrain, inviting you to test your skills while reveling in the natural surroundings. The course’s design, coupled with the joy of the game, ensures that your day is filled with golfing satisfaction and memorable moments.

Late afternoon, you will be transferred for a scenic sunset cruise on the Zambezi river, aboard the luxurious “Malachite” vessel. Amuse bouche and snack platters are served while the sun sinks below the shimmering surface of the Zambezi. It’s a great photo opportunity from the upper deck and the possibility of spotting wild game like crocodiles, hippos and elephants, apart from the many different bird species, are plenty. After the sun has sunk below the river line, a seven course dinner made from locally sourced, fresh ingredients is served on the lower deck of the vessel, exemplifying the hallmarks of exquisite cuisine prepared on board by the two chefs. 

Days 11 - 12

South Luangwa National Park

Today you’ll fly from Lusaka to Mfuwe Lodge in the pristine wilderness of South Luangwa National Park, known for its remarkable biodiversity. Check-in to your comfortable lodge accommodations and enjoy the ambiance of the African bush. The afternoon presents an optional game drive, a chance to go on your first safari adventure. The park teems with life, from elegant leopards to herds of buffalo, and as the sun sets, you’ll witness the park’s nocturnal residents coming to life on a night drive.

Day 12
Your day kicks off with an early morning game drive, an optimal time for spotting wildlife as they begin their daily routines. Guided by expert rangers, you may encounter elephants, lions, and the incredible array of birdlife that calls South Luangwa home. Return to the lodge for a delicious brunch, followed by leisure time to relax or explore the lodge’s amenities. In the afternoon, you can choose to continue your safari adventures with a game drive or opt for a guided walking safari. Walking safaris offer an intimate connection with nature, allowing you to observe the smaller details of the bush and possibly track wildlife on foot. 

Day 13

South Luangwa National Park

Another day in South Luangwa presents even more thrilling wildlife encounters. You may start with a morning game drive, visiting different areas of the park to maximize your chances of seeing various species. The park is known for its leopard population, and you might be lucky enough to spot one of these elusive cats.

In the afternoon, you have the option to join a local village visit, enjoying in the culture and traditions of the indigenous communities that inhabit the region. This cultural exchange offers insights into the daily lives of the people living in harmony with the park’s wildlife.

Your day concludes with a candlelit dinner, a fitting end to another day filled with adventures and the wonders of the African wilderness.

South Luangwa National Park

Your final morning at Mfuwe Lodge begins with a game drive or walking safari, a chance to bid farewell to the remarkable wildlife of South Luangwa. This last safari may provide new encounters or a final glimpse of your favorite animals.

Returning to the lodge, savor a hearty breakfast as you reflect on your safari experiences. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable stay at Mfuwe Lodge.
