Day 1

Arrival at Mana Pools National Park 
Depart from Victoria Falls International Airport on a chartered flight bound for the wilds of Mana Pools National Park. On arrival, meet your guide and travel by road through pristine wilderness to Nyamatusi Camp, where you’ll stay for the next three nights.  

 

Days 2 -3

Nyamatusi sits in a quiet corner of Mana Pools near the Zambezi River, where lush scenery and wildlife come together in a relaxed, natural setting.

Safari outings include walks, drives and canoeing through calm channels — all offering chances to see animals like elephants,  giraffes, hippos, antelopes and occasionally lions and wild dogs.

Birding is a highlight too, with many species easily spotted in the trees and along the riverbanks. Fishing is another way to enjoy the water and the views.

Days 4 - 6

Fothergill Island

Lake Kariba

Transfer to Fothergill Island
Enjoy a game drive to Mana Main Airstrip for a 30-minute charter flight to Fothergill’s private airstrip. Soar over the Zambezi and Lake Kariba before landing in Matusadona National Park. A quick 5-minute transfer brings you to Fothergill Island, where you’ll settle in and enjoy an afternoon by the lake or a scenic sunset cruise.

During your 3-night stay, enjoy game drives and guided bush walks through Matusadona National Park, as well as boating safaris and fishing on Lake Kariba. Sunset cruises, stargazing, and wellness options like yoga and a lakeside gym add a relaxing touch. Families can take advantage of the Mini Ranger program, while cultural excursions to Kariba and conservation experiences round out the adventure.

 

 

Day 7

Fothergill Island

Lake Kariba

End of Trip 
After breakfast, take a short transfer to Fothergill’s private airstrip and board a charter flight to Victoria Falls International Airport, offering one last view of Zimbabwe’s breathtaking landscapes.
