At Elephant Hills Golf Course you’ll tee off with the Zambezi River gleaming in the distance, just minutes upstream from Victoria Falls. Trip Itinerary

Days 1 - 2

Victoria Falls

The Victoria Falls Hotel

Your vacation starts at one of the worlds greatest natural wonders - Victoria Falls. On arrival at the airport you will be met by our representative who will assist you with your transfer to the iconic Victoria Falls Hotel. Check in to the grand Victoria Falls Hotel , set right on the edge of the falls for 2 nights.

Day 2
After breakfast, you will be transferred to play 18 holes of golf at Elephant Hills Golf Club (Includes Green Fee, Shared Cart and Halfway House). Late afternoon, you will be transferred for a scenic sunset cruise on the Zambezi river, aboard the luxurious “Malachite” vessel. Amuse bouche and snack platters are served while the sun sinks below the shimmering surface of the Zambezi. It's a great photo opportunity from the upper deck and the possibility of spotting wild game like crocodiles, hippos and elephants, apart from the many different bird species, are plenty. After the sun has sunk below the river line, a seven course dinner made from locally sourced, fresh ingredients is served on the lower deck of the vessel, exemplifying the hallmarks of exquisite cuisine prepared on board by the two chefs.

Your next morning at Victoria Falls gives you an up, close and personal encounter with this legendary phenomena on foot. With your knowledgeable guide, experience epic views of one of the world’s largest waterfall and explore the vast gorge where the roaring Zambezi River plunges into. Visit 'The Big Tree,' the rainforest trails and the incredible flora as well as sites like the Devil’s Cataract at the end of the Chain Walk. In the afternoon you will be transferred by road (approx. 2.5hrs) to Somalisa Safari Camp at Hwange National Park. You settle into your spacious and beautifully appointed tented accommodation, seamlessly blending with the natural surroundings. Each tent features comfortable beds and en-suite facilities, ensuring a pleasant stay. After a refreshing shower and some relaxation time, you join fellow guests for a delectable dinner in the camp's dining area.

Day 4

Day 4
You wake up early for a morning game drive. Hwange National Park is renowned for its diverse wildlife, and your expert guide takes you deep into the park to search for elephants, lions, buffalo, and other incredible animals. The morning light is perfect for photography. Midday: You return to the camp for a hearty brunch, and you can spend your leisure time relaxing in your tent or at the camp's comfortable lounge area. In the afternoon, you have the option to go on another game drive or take a guided bush walk. Walking safaris provide a unique perspective on the park's flora and fauna, allowing you to get closer to smaller creatures and learn about the park's ecology.

Days 5 - 6

Hwange National Park

Another early morning game drive awaits, giving you another opportunity to witness the park's incredible wildlife, perhaps even some elusive predators on the hunt. After brunch, you may have the option to visit the local village to interact with indigenous communities and learn about their way of life, contributing to responsible tourism and community engagement. You can choose to relax at the camp, enjoying a siesta or lounging by the pool, or you can embark on a guided nature walk to explore the smaller details of Hwange's ecosystem. As night falls, you gather around the campfire for storytelling and stargazing, a perfect way to end your day of adventure.

Day 6
On your last morning at Somalisa Camp, you can choose to go on one final game drive or relax at the camp, taking in the serene surroundings. After brunch, it's time to bid farewell to the camp staff and your fellow guests. You check out and will be transferred to Hwange Airport for a 2hr flight to Harare. On arrival in Harare you will be met and transferred to Sandalwood Lodge, where you'll spend the next 4 nights. The lodge's hospitable staff will extend a warm welcome as you check in to your comfortable room or suite, ensuring that your stay is nothing short of exceptional.

Days 7 -8

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge's restaurant, which features a wide selection of dishes to cater to your preferences. Following your meal, embark on a golfing adventure at the picturesque Borrowdale Brooke Golf Club. This renowned golf course is not only challenging but also offers breathtaking views of the countryside. The lush fairways and manicured greens make for an unforgettable golfing experience. After your golf game, return to Sandalwood Lodge, where you can unwind by the sparkling pool or take a leisurely stroll in the lodge's serene gardens.

Day 8
After a satisfying breakfast, you'll head out to the prestigious Royal Harare Golf Club for another exciting round of golf. The Royal Harare Golf Club is known for its rich history and impeccably maintained course, offering a challenging yet enjoyable game of golf. The course is surrounded by mature trees and offers a tranquil atmosphere for golf enthusiasts. Upon your return to Sandalwood Lodge, you can enjoy lunch and leisure time.

Your morning begins with a leisurely breakfast, preparing you for a day of golf at Chapman Golf Club. This golf course is renowned for its challenging layout and serene ambiance. Surrounded by nature and featuring well-maintained fairways, Chapman Golf Club offers a memorable golfing experience for players of all levels. Following your golfing adventure, return to Sandalwood Lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Days 10 - 11

Lake Kariba

On your last morning at Sandalwood Lodge, savor a final breakfast before being transferred to Harare Airport for your flight to Bumi Hills. Bumi Hills is a remote and picturesque destination located on the shores of Lake Kariba. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to the lodge.

Day 11
Your day begins with a delicious breakfast at Bumi Hills Lodge while enjoying stunning views of Lake Kariba. The morning is dedicated to a thrilling game drive led by experienced guides, offering the chance to witness diverse wildlife such as elephants, lions, buffalo, and numerous bird species. After returning to the lodge for lunch, you can choose between another game drive or a relaxing boat safari on Lake Kariba in the afternoon.

Days 12 - 13

Day 12
In the morning, you'll go on a cultural tour, visiting a local village to engage with indigenous communities, learn about their traditions, and gain insights into their way of life. After returning to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, the afternoon offers the opportunity for a guided nature walk with a knowledgeable guide. Explore the local flora and fauna while discovering the intricacies of the region's ecology.

Day 13
The morning activity includes one last exhilarating game drive to maximize your wildlife viewing experiences and capture lasting memories through photography. You will be returned to the airstrip and fly back to Harare to connect with your flight home.
