Last week all eyes were on Royal Troon for The Open, this week the spotlight is on Paris for the 2024 Olympics.
That doesn’t mean fairways and greens elsewhere are seeing any less action by those of us who may not necessarily be part of the professional ranks, but who nonetheless like to get out and take a few swings.
Clubs are still being hauled off to some of the best courses and facilities globally, with quite a few situated right here in Africa according to the most recent lists published by Golf Digest and Today’s Golfer.
Golf Digest has Leopard Creek Country Club and Durban Country Club as two of the World’s 100 Greatest Courses for 2024-2025. Today’s Golfer has determined 11 of the World’s 100 Greatest Golf Resorts are in Africa.
As Africa’s leading golf safari DMC, Ascot Tours is perfectly positioned to offer exceptional experiences to these top-class facilities on the continent.
One of them is Fancourt on the Garden Route in South Africa, also mentioned by Today’s Golfer on their list. This stunning facility with its three Gary Player-designed courses is part of the Best of South Africa luxury tour that I’m extremely excited to be hosting in April 2025. Included in the package are six rounds of golf in four fantastic locations as well as three nights at the exclusive Shamwari Sindile Lodge in the Eastern Cape. Sounds all too enticing, doesn’t it?

Thank you for being a part of our community. We look forward to sharing many more incredible experiences with you.
