It’s a wonderful warm-up or a more relaxed round, still with the chance of spotting local wildlife like monkeys and diverse birdlife.
White River Country Club (White River): This classic 18-hole parkland course, located a bit further from the immediate Kruger border but still within the Lowveld, is known for its excellent conditioning, mature trees, and friendly atmosphere. It provides a more traditional club golfing experience and is often considered one of the best courses in the Mpumalanga province.
Nelspruit Golf Club, one of the oldest clubs in the region, offers a challenging and well-established 18-hole parkland layout. It’s known for its undulating fairways, strategic bunkering, and a welcoming local membership. While further from Kruger than some others, it’s a quality course often included if clients are flying into or out of Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) and want a round in the region’s largest town.
