Ascot Tours Kicks Off 2025 South Africa Familiarization Trip

Cape Town, South Africa – We officially began our 2025 South African Familiarization Trip this week, hosting key partners at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay. We started the event with a traditional South African braai, providing a warm welcome for all attendees. The purpose of this trip is to give our partners first-hand insight into the distinctive golf and safari combinations that we proudly offer. Over the coming days, the group will experience a diverse itinerary.

Site Visit: The Bay Hotel

Our initial site inspection at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay proved truly impressive. The property boasts a prime location directly on the beach and is situated on the main strip, offering immediate access to restaurants and bars. The hotel features 78 superbly designed rooms and suites, with types including Mountain View, Sea View, Pool Club, and Cabana Pool Club options. We found the rooms to be well-appointed, and the service staff demonstrated high levels of attentiveness and professionalism throughout our visit.

The hotel complex features four swimming pools, with two being solar heated, along with expansive sun decks. We position The Bay Hotel most suited for families, however, its sister property, Camps Bay Retreat, is recommend for luxury travellers seeking a more tranquil, adult-focused environment. Complimentary transport in a luxury car is provided between the two hotels, allowing guests to enjoy the complementary amenities of both properties.

We operate exclusively as a business-to-business (B2B) provider. We invite interested travel agents and tour operators to inquire about future familiarization trip opportunities.
