Most Memorable Trip

“My trip to the Selinda Reserve in the north of Botswana is one of those I’ll never forget. It was my first time visiting that part of the Delta, and I didn’t expect it to feel so remote and peaceful. I saw elephants right from camp and lions on game drive. The mokoro rides on the Selinda Spillway were just as special. It’s one of those places I didn’t want to leave.”

My top tip for visiting Botswana is to travel light, pack good binoculars and an even better sense of curiosity. Game drives are fantastic, but some of the best sightings I’ve ever had were right from camp. Another thing – slow down. It’s tempting to pack in the Delta, Chobe and the Pans all in one trip, but the real magic happens when you take your time.
